HB-Cumulus 1.3
I’ve just pushed out a new revision of HB-Cumulus. This isn’t a major update, rather another maintenance update in which I’ve:
Updated tagcloud.swf to that provided with WP-Cumulus 1.20, which includes the following relevant fixes:
“Fixed the mouse pointer not changing to a hand when hovering tags.”
“Adds Turkish language support to the Flash movie.”
Like the WP-Cumulus [...]
Installing Habari isn’t really that complicated, however getting OS X up and running ready for the installation requires a bit of work.
Mac OS X 10.5 (aka Leopard) conveniently comes with Apache 2 and PHP 5, so most of the work in setting up a MAMP server has already been done for you. Sure [...]
HB-Cumulus 1.2
I’ve just pushed out a new revision of HB-Cumulus. This isn’t a major update, rather more of a maintenance update in which I’ve:
Updated tagcloud.swf to that provided with WP-Cumulus 1.18, which includes a change that… “Improves mouse detection in transparent mode”
Sorted out the documenting of the licensing of the various components
Updated directory structure to [...]
HB-Cumulus 1.1
I’ve had to push out a minor update to HB-Cumulus as I’ve just discovered a little bug which causes the HB-Cumulus settings to be deleted when another plugin is deactivated.
You can get the latest revision from the HB-Cumulus project page.
As this is a new release, I’ve closed comments on the 1.0 post. If you [...]

I think one of the greatest features of Habari is it’s multi-site support. Unlike Wordpress, Habari has multi-site support out of the box. This allows you to configure multiple blogs off a single installation of the code with a fair amount of control over how independent each of these blogs are.
Each new blog [...]
Habari 0.5 Released
If you’ve been following the developments of Habari, you’ll be pleased to hear Habari 0.5 is now out the door and waiting for you to download and use.
Habari 0.5 is a vast improvement on the previous stable release (0.4.1) so if you tried 0.4.1 and didn’t think much of it, I recommend you give 0.5 [...]
Install Habari on Joyent
Habari has some pretty stringent requirements that need to be met. Thankfully Joyent’s Shared Accelerator (and I believe all other) accounts meets all of these already so there’s no need to install any additional software or log tickets to get software updated. You will however need to make some configuration changes which I’ll [...]
My First Habari Ticket
13May08Well, I’m on my way to contributing to Habari and have just submitted my first defect ticket (#332 - Monolith’s “Manage %s” doesn’t show draft pages or entries) and even supplied a patch containing a possible fix.
Well, I’ve only had the Habari source installed for less than a week and I’ve already contributed and helped to resolve a bug (#182). The Habari guys, in this case moeffju, are pretty damn quick at sorting things like this out if you’re able to actively work with them via IRC and using SVN. [...]
