I’ve just pushed out a new revision of HB-Cumulus. This isn’t a major update, rather another maintenance update in which I’ve:

Updated tagcloud.swf to that provided with WP-Cumulus 1.20, which includes the following relevant fixes:
“Fixed the mouse pointer not changing to a hand when hovering tags.”
“Adds Turkish language support to the Flash movie.”

Installing Habari isn’t really that complicated, however getting OS X up and running ready for the installation requires a bit of work.
Mac OS X 10.5 (aka Leopard) conveniently comes with Apache 2 and PHP 5, so most of the work in setting up a MAMP server has already been done for you. Sure [...]

I’ve had to push out a minor update to HB-Cumulus as I’ve just discovered a little bug which causes the HB-Cumulus settings to be deleted when another plugin is deactivated.

HB-Cumulus is a Flash-based tag cloud for Habari that displays your tag cloud in a rotating sphere just like the one shown here.

I think one of the greatest features of Habari is it’s multi-site support. Unlike Wordpress, Habari has multi-site support out of the box. This allows you to configure multiple blogs off a single installation of the code with a fair amount of control over how independent each of these blogs are.
