The pkg repositories have now been updated to included the 2009.06 pkgs (What’s New preso - PDF). There is no need to perform a clean install, you can just use the Update Manager GUI to update your OpenSolaris 2008.11 release to 2009.06.

I’m a little late on this, but OpenSolaris 2008.11 is now available for all to download and includes loads of new things including Fast Reboot and a really cool feature - Time Slider - aka Time Machine for OpenSolaris, but using ZFS.

OpenSolaris 2008.11 RC was pushed out late Friday evening, so time to get updating.
One of the most notable bug fixes is the larger than expected memory requirements that RC1 had (bug 3597).

OpenSolaris has now been updated to build 93, which I believe is actually the preview build for OpenSolaris 2008.11 (though this may change), and best of all ISOs are being generated again and are available via BitTorrent.
